Kingham Hall school were in need of new school toilets which we were excited to help them with. Because they’re a boarding school, they also needed help with designing and installing a shower room for their students. This added an extra challenge for us and we were more than up to the job!

What the client wanted

Lidia Pocock at Kingham Hill School got in touch with us and asked if we’d be able to help them and we, of course, said yes! Designing and fitting washrooms is something that we and our teams have specialised in for years now which means that we’re ready for anything that a customer could throw at us.

After starting her search, Lidia found our website and decide to get in touch. We were able to discuss what she needed on the phone and get a little more details so that we could create a perfect washroom for both the school and the students. After finding out that Kingham Hill is a boarding school, we talked about the installation of a shower room with Lidia and were able to design something that would suit them just right.

As for the style ad design, Kingham Hill School wanted us to create a modern space that they could be proud of which is something that we love to do. We talked about the colours and finished to ensure that we were able to achieve the perfect result for them. We chose to use a set of lighter colour paired with darker accents which all helped to connote a mature atmosphere rather than tailoring these facilities to a younger audience.

What we achieved

After we’d removed the old washroom and start our installation it already started to look like a completely different space! It’s was really exciting for us to see how we’ve transformed and facility into a modern space that looks amazing.

Kingham Hill School and Lidia were great to work with and we had no trouble at all. We’re happy to say that we provided just what they were looking for. From the shower cubicles to the Vanity unit, every aspect of the space comes together really nicely. Lidia told us about the fact that they needed a really quick turnaround on this project of just 8 days! So, we got to work and did everything we could to make sure we could work to their timeframe. Between the skills of our design and installations teams paired with our connections in the industry, we were able to work efficiently to create a bespoke washroom and showroom to Lida’s specifications all within the desired timeframe.

Push-button taps

The inclusion of push-button taps makes sense in most settings like this. It removes the chances of someone leaving the tap on, wasting water and creating a dangerous slip hazard for everyone. What’s more, it will also mean that the school will consume a lot more water than they otherwise would.

These taps are fitted with temperature controls so that no matter what temperature you need the taps to be, they’re able to be utilised.

Tamperproof, time-flow shower

We were asked about the shower options that we could provide and having looked at the market, there was a lot out there. However, we were asked to find something that couldn’t be broken easily and had a timed flow which is what we did.

The Delabie sporting 2 offers everything that we need and looks great, it ties in really well with the colour scheme and the clients really like it.

I loved every second of this project and so did the team. Lidia and everyone at Kingham Hill School were lovely to work with and very accommodating. Even though we had a tight timeframe, we were able to complete everything to a high standard and the finished product looks amazing.
