What the client wanted
The crew over at North Lees Campsite knew that they needed an upgrade and wanted to offer their customers a level of normality when it comes to sleeping outdoors. Their washrooms needed to be simple yet practical, with a high-quality drainage system, lighting and durable materials throughout.
The client needed both their male and female washrooms updated as well as the vanity units and shower cubicles. With this in mind, we wanted to make sure that the theme throughout the toilets were all the same and also fit into the surrounding areas.
The main aspect of these washrooms was function and practicality. Both teams were clued up on the type of materials required and the overall aesthetic that was going to be delivered. The washrooms needed to be basic yet useful, simple yet timeless. Once we were all on the same page in regards to the design and fitout process, our design team got to work.
What we achieved
Inspired Washrooms loved every minute of this project and were able to enjoy the location as well as the work being done. The end result was exactly what everyone had in mind and fit perfectly into the campsite itself, its users and the needs of a camper. We kept the design very minimal, using mostly grey, white and blue tones. These colours not only resemble a clean, fresh feel, but they also kept the space neutral and modern. The washrooms and showers were fitted with white and silver hardware, offering long-lasting equipment for all to use. The floor was kept minimal, with a water-resistant, grey finish throughout whilst we also installed large lighting for effective use during the night time.
We had plenty of space to work with so was able to install toilet cubicles, vanity units, shower cubicles with changing areas, urinals and spacious wash basins.
