What the client wanted

The team over at Gaudet Luce Golf Club got in touch and told us about their situation; they had an old washroom that didn’t live up to their high standards or reflect the kind of care and attention that they put into the other aspects of their grounds and clubhouse. With that in mind, we asked what it is they’re looking for so that we can get to work. After visiting the club, assessing the space and showing the team a few design styles that we thought would suit, we got back into the office and started our design process.

For such a premium golf club, we needed to be able to create a premium atmosphere within the washrooms so that customers felt the right kind of quality throughout their experience with Gaudet Luce Golf Club. This meant that we were able to use premium, commercial materials, fittings and fixtures to ensure that this washroom would last for a long time and look great in years to come.

We landed on rich greys complemented by light, wood effect IPS panelling and white porcelain throughout. In our designs, this all looked amazing and really brought the space to life.

What we achieved

With the designs all signed off and the Gaudet Luce Golf Club team happy with the way everything looks, we got straight to work. We have very good relationships with a number of the biggest manufactures and suppliers of washrooms goods which means that we’re often able to reduce lead times on products and materials. This means that we could work fast than many others and get our project finished quickly while maintaining a high-quality finish.

The final product looks amazing! We’ve taken the fantastic greys and created a great base colour for the washroom, this bleeds into the safety flooring that helps to prevent injury in the event of a wet floor. Paired with bright LED lighting systems, we’re able to bring a clean and spacious feeling to the washroom what helps to add to the premium feel. We’ve noticed that these styles are really popular at the moment when combines with a lovely light wood effect panelling and darker wood effect accents. This pairing makes for a fantastic, eye-catching contrast that looks amazing.

The inclusion of hand-in dyers is a really nice touch that we think adds a certain level of care and attention from our clients to their customers. Reducing touch points like this mean that germs won’t spread as easily and anyone using their facilities will be safer.
